It was a a few blobs with were meant to be countries with borders and u had to paint them with 4 diff colours but they couldn’t be adjacent
like on a map which maps need 4 separate colours so that no countries share a border with the same colour

i got the one with the massive blob on the right i think it was E but could be a different one

how did everyone find it
I ran out of time and had to randomly guess for last 3/4

It was tricky, and I totally flopped the essay section.

Quite tricky! Glad I'm not the only one who ran out of time towards the end, didn't help that there were some noisy kids outside at one point but mostly i was able to keep my head down.
Yeah I think the parallel reasonings and problem solving questions were hard and the timing was so tricky
do you guys remember what you put for the parallel reasoning Qs?

and the 2nd question - hot drinks and cold drinks.

I ended up getting C, I originally put B but realised you could do it with 3 and then panickedly changed to C. In order for it to be correct, you needed to have 1 country landlocked by an odd amount of countries.

This one, of the top of my head, I think I put 600

I thought the critical thinking was harder than usual but the problem solving was easier and cause that’s usually my worst bit I finished with a few minutes to spare. I BOMBED the essay though, truly the worst thing I’ve ever written.

GOD SAME, it’s humiliating how bad it was… No seriously, the mere idea of that piece of paper being shipped off to oxford is a disgrace
Tbf, I enjoyed the Essay and feel I did quite well with that; it was quite a nice question for me (the voting one) so I feel I did quite well on that.

If I recall correctly my workings were

18 + (18×2/3) = 30
30 x 14 = 420
12 + (12×2/3) = 20
20 × 9 = 180

180 + 420 = 600
