which would you rather do? i don't start uni til 11 every day, but rarely get in before 5 (even on a wednesday i don't get in til about 3 usually)... the medics i live with are in at 9am most days, but hardly ever have afternoon lectures... so which is better?

i think i'd prefer morning lectures... at the moment i just sleep, wheras if i had an afternoon off i would do more work... i jsut think my time would be more effectively spent...

I would prefer afternoon lectures becuase I am lazy (can't swear because you're a mod) and I just tend to sleep. However I love nothing more on earth than my lie ins. I do agree that time is more effectivly managed if you have morning lectures though.

The problem for is a 9:00am lecture involves getting up at 7:00.

ooh good thread.

I'd personally prefer later finishes - am not a morning person 9-5s don't usually allow for that luxury though

In theory early mornings would be much more time efficient, but students aren't designed to be getting up early all the time.

yeh that's true... my radio goes off at 9am every day... but next year i will live less than 5 minutes from uni so i'll be able to crawl out of bed at 8.30 (i know all my maths lectures are 9am every day next year)

that's harsh... i'd just like to point out that it's 12.45 on a friday night and i'm sat at in my pyjamas while my whole flat is out *knew she shouldn't have gone shopping crazy this week*

my monday is as follows:
11-12 economics lecture
12-1 psychology practical
1-2 maths lecture
2-3 economics tutorail
3-4 maths computer lab session
4-5 maths worskshop
5.15-7.15 spanish

so ha! (and don't ask how i ended up doing so many subjects and get most of my tutorials/practicals in one day)
