hello everyone! please excuse my silence on here, I was on holiday friday-sunday.
today was my first day back at school after half-term and had two extract questions - one in history and one in politics.
Im not super happy with how my history extract went, I was a little nervous which unfortunately led to me having a complete mind blank but overall I'm sure it wasn't too bad. the politics extract question went really well though!
I got my results back from the French test I did before half-term and I got an A, which I am very pleased about
tasks for today:
- explain and analyse 3 ways in which conservative thinkers have viewed private property
- write a paragraph explaining how conservatism’s attitude to capitalism differs from attitudes to capitalism within liberalism

sorry for my silence over the last few days, I've had an incredibly busy schedule with various assessments and helping out at post-16 open evening at school. I've been struggling a little bit with a cold and lack of energy this week so haven't quite managed to complete as much work as I had hoped and am looking forward to a completely fresh start next week

friday 10th November 2023:
I didn't have any homework that needed doing so decided to use my double free period to catch up on some reading for my personal statement. In the afternoon I had politics and history. in politics, I got an explain and analyse question back, I was pleased with my mark (7/9) but am not sure that I fully understood the topic so will definitely be reviewing this over the weekend and have another go. In history I got a source question back for British history and I got an A, which was a pleasant surprise I would say that history is probably my weakest subject so it was really encouraging to see that my revision is paying off!
