My Personal statement has some issues.
I sent off my UCAS application thinking that everything was fine. It was never sent back by my sixth form. However, I’ve read over my personal statement and I’ve seen one or two issues. The biggest issue was that I named the wrong author for a book. I’m worried this looks so stupid. Do you think I should send my updated personal statement to my chosen universities? Or should I leave it. And how would I explain it to them over email. Thanks 
In my opinion it's fine, won't really matter much now that you've sent it and it's not worth the hassle of sending an updated one. They might not even notice it hopefully.
