Day 9:

My ucas application is finally ready to send!!!! And I am hoping to have it sent off to my uni choices by the end of the week. My schools set the deadline for Christmas so I'd rather get it over with early so I can start focusing on my mocks in January :smile:

Completed:
-Maths Homework
-Made flashcards for Chemistry Module 3
-Reviewed Chemistry Module 2 flashcards

To do:
-Maths Mixed Ex8 - parametrics.
-Biology Homework
-Add to Chemistry Module 4 flashcards
-Revise Year 12 chemistry pathways.
-Start revising for mocks 😎

I'm applying to UEA, York, Kent, Essex and then I'm torn between Leicester and Swansea for my 5th choice. However, I think I'm going to go for Leicester because I think I'd enjoy studying there more, the campus looks better and its closer to home, the only downside is the entry requirements are slightly higher.

Also I have some pressure on mocks for me now, cause I made a bet with my maths teacher today that I'd get an A or at least a high B. 😂

Also forgot to add that I'm trying to get on top of my flashcards (cause im up to date making them just not reviewing them 😬) so I'll just try and do a few every time I get a spare minute and hopefully it'll compile overtime because right now my anki is a mess :smile:

Day 10:

We've made it to double digits!! I found out the content which I will be tested on for my maths mock today, I'm hoping to find out for biology tomorrow and then chemistry on Friday. Also made a deal with my maths teacher that I'd get an A so I need to get my head in the books again. I am also sending off my uni application tomorrow so I cant wait for that 😀

Completed:
-Added to Chem Module 4 flashcards from chemrevise
-Checked for mistakes in chem PPQ (waiting for markscheme)
-Attended mechanics revision session
-Maths homework
-Filled out blank chemistry reaction pathways sheets.

To do:
-Maths Mixed Ex8 - parametrics.
-Biology Homework
-Biology Module 5 flashcards
-Revise for mocks 😀

-2 hours of Chemistry pathways revision (and a few ionic equation bits)
-Some biology module 5 flashcards
-Printed off some topic questions and made myself a checklist for biology test in 2 weeks 😀

To do:
-Revise Biology module 5/6 (for test) & make content to revise (e.g. flashcards)
-Revise Year 12 maths content for mocks
-Find out what content will be tested for chemistry mock.

Also received conditional offer from Essex today for BCC which is lower than expected 😁
I will try and revise as much over the weekend but I am working a lot so if you don't hear from me that'll probably because I did nothing other than a few maths questions and flashcards because I'm finishing my shift at 11pm (rip). Other than that have a good weekend everybody!

Thank you! You're definitely right about taking a break, I think it would be worth clearing my head so then I can take a deep dive and consolidate everything I've learnt and re-learnt over the past few weeks as a sort of more chilled revision session.

At least all my uni stuff is finished now so I can focus on exams, but it still feels like I'm just revising for test after test at the moment and I'd love a minute to just chill.

I woke up late today after a long shift at work last night so I missed out on some maths that I was going to do this morning. Mainly stressing over the workload for biology at the moment, I've been having regrets about the A-Levels I am taking but I can't change that now and I just have to do the best with what I have got.

yup i get that like when can i solely focus on mocks instead of in-class assessments?? in a 'deep dive' session, what do you do? :smile:
