Let briefly me share my experience of the AC:
So obviously theres a short introduction where they run through the schedule of the day.
First task is a one to one task with an assessor. Essentially, you have to read a report which has info on a store as well as info about the area the store is in. You then make notes for like 30mins.
You then present your finding to the assessor, where you make a recommendation. They then ask you questions in relation to the report. Basically they look at how you analyse info and come to conclusions.
Pretty calm task, assessors were very nice. Actually enjoyed the task tbh.

2 Task: You have to use the notes from the previous task. You are then given another report about the same store but this wont be as much info as the previous report. You then add on to your notes. You will be given like 15mins.
Then you join a room with 2 assessors and 1 other candidate. The assessors give you a breifing on the task. They then give you and the other candidate 30mins to discuss your findings and come to a join decision.
You then have to coordinate a presentation with your partner answering 1-4 questions within the presentation. After the 30 mins you present it to the 2 assessors. Pretty simple again. Literally same as task 1 but more indepth and with another person.
But keep in mind that during the 30min preparation time with your pair, they listen in, see how you interact, etc. But it dosent mean try dominate the convo or ask difficult qs to your pair. You have to work together. If one of you are not onboard or not on the same page, then your both affected.
And thats about it.

This was my first AC and honestly i went in there relaxed and composed. You do not need to do any preparation prior at all. I woke up like 10 mins before it started and went in lol.

Was there no interview ?
Also thanks for sharing, that was very generous.
Also do you guys think task will be based on what your applying for, like if your doing tech will be more towards that ..

no. they will only ask questions about the brief.
so for example they may say how would you convince the store to implement these recommendations

It will follow the same structure as in one to one with the assessor and group task (2-3ppl), but obviously different type of brief, questions to answer in your presentation...

Same here! I passed mine in December and was told that further details would be given in mid of Jan, but haven't heard anything until now. I contacted the recruitment team and was told that not everyone who passes the video interview will be invited to the assessment centre, and tbh that's shocking to me lol , hopefully we all get invited to the assessment centre

exact same i email them and got the exact response, idk why they tell ppl they passed but don't allow those ppl to move on

Wait so is the AC the last stage or is there another thing after that. When will you hear back from them? Also, was your AC physical or virtual? Thanks, also don't tell me anything confidential

Virtual. If you pass the AC, you will get invited to a facetoface interview at one of the BT Locations (final stage).

Were you invited to the assessment centre in the same email where you passed your video interview? Or did you get separate emails for each? If separate how long after passing the video interview did you get a response?

I got separate emails for both. I got an email that I passed the Video Interview at the end of December and then an email to the Assessment Centre on the 3rd of January. I did the video interview mid-December.

I think it just an AC left in Jan, and nobody has got an offer since it still early in the applications

there is the AC first and then there will be a face-to-face interview at the office you are applying to. That's what it said on my AC email.

I'm in the same boat. I assume it's something to do with location, maybe they started with London and will soon do ACs elsewhere for the other offices. Where did you apply?

Hi, I applied for the Cyber security degree apprenticeship programme at the Manchester office, how about you?

I just got an invite for the final BT interview, but tbh i dont think id choose bt even if it was my only degree apprenticeship offer. I used it to practice for others.
