Is Open Study College good for A levels?

Let me know if you have had any good or bad experiences with Open Study College or another online college for A levels.

Open Study College is a scam - they charge you way more than is advertised on their website and then state that you're not allowed to cancel the courses you took on. I'm also 99% sure that they're not recognised by exam boards as I've seen many people say the courses they took are basically useless as uni's have said they aren't recognised by exam boards. Open study college also fakes their reviews as much as they can, so no, I don't recommend it.

My daughter is doing her GCSEs with open study college the ‘tutor support’ is basically non existent. History for example has one assessment per question that will appear on the exam. This is hardly suffient to confirm that the course material is known to an adequate level to pass the exam. When asking how she could improve the grade we were told to buy another book despite the course details saying everything is included in the course. She is studying 7 GCSEs with them and this is the level of support she has been given when these courses cost around £400 plus exam fees She could have accessed the material for free in other places if we had know there would not be any support.
