What report question? Video or written? And what did u have to do in the report

i had to basically summarise risks and strengths from the data which was ok but i wasn’t sure about if it’s meant to be in an email format

Innit you’re allowed to mess up once or twice as long as your main points have been made well

Ohh I had that too, I didn’t do email format because it didn’t tell us to, there’s another email question on the assessment. I grouped the information into categories like the stakeholders and financial figures (I can’t remember) I wrote the risk and then the weakness per category and I used the information and what I recommend needs to be done and I said why it was an issue and a risk. but idk if I was meant to do that

now i’m scared cause i was really concise, i just listed all the risks and weaknesses and for the weakness section i only had one thing but then below it i said what that weakness causes but i did it in an email format because for the deloitte one it was the same but it said in an email to do the same thing so i might’ve done the kpmg one wrong

Have u submitted the KPMG one?
Nah I couldn’t risk it, if the previous one said email then I would do email and if it didn’t I wouldn’t of done an email, they just wanted to see if u can condense information and make a judgement on it effectively

What did u talk about for why u want to do audit data analytics/ the introduction question

Omg I've completed the delivering outcomes assessment and I'm afraid like super nervous. I think I done good on the written questions but I'm feeling 50/50 for the video interviews only because I didn't prepare well for my answers. I'm praying that i have passed this!!!!! Don't worry anyone who hasn't done it yet its not hard at all it's actually quite fun

yeah i submitted it, for the introducing yourself question i said my name, role & then what my role is & then i talked about when i joined kpmg hypothetically and that i’ve been in many programmes and gave an example of one that kpmg does and then i said i’m looking forward to working with them but now i’m nervous cause maybe i shouldn’t have submitted it in email format

Yay that’s great, how did you answer the first video question it was difficult for me

I have to pass KPMG cus I’ve been rejected from the rest of the big 4 firms, if I don’t pass I’m gonna assume they hate women and they’re racist (I’m kidding 😅😂) but I would be so upset

My mentor told me that what u said is exactly what you’re not meant to do. He said that You’re meant to sell yourself as an individual because the recruiters wanna know who u are and the skills you have, idk I might be wrong but I didn’t answer it like that. Did you mention your skills at all because if u did then your answer is fine, u just need to explain your qualities and how you’re able to work with the team effectively

You mentioned how u spoke about why KPMG, but I’m pretty sure I spoke about my “why KPMG” in the why do u wanna do audit

i’m not sure if i mentioned my skills but the question was about introducing yourself and i think it talked about if you’d work on the team effectively so maybe i did that wrong but i got a question about what attracted me to the role i’m applying to and about what skills i have that apply to the role where i did talk about my skills because it blatantly asked for it

Fair enough that’s fine then
I had to introduce myself to a director not a team but it did say I should introduce myself in a way that would make me valuable for future projects with the director; something like that. So you deffo had to talk about your skills to impress the director and also my mentor told me to redirect a question to the director to demonstrate a commitment to build a relationship

For the question about why I’m interested in my chosen role
The scenario was me in the shoes of an apprentice and I was hosting an apprenticeship insight afternoon and, a guest asked me why I was interested in the role, that question obviously didn’t need me to talk about my skills because it was directed to a bunch of youngers

We definitely all got the same questions but in a different format

mine was just a straight question about the role and what skills i apply to that role & for the introduce yourself question, it was about a new member on the team and i forgot the last part of the question but like introduce yourself to the new member on the team but i didn’t have a specific role so i pretended i was an apprentice on the team, im not sure what else i could’ve said that didn’t seem like i was forcing my skills in, it would’ve seemed kinda obvious, i had another question about what would i do in this situation about senior managers being busy blah blah

Yeah we didn’t get the same questions, with your questions I would of taken the same approach that you had done, but we didn’t get the same scenarios, it’s okay tho we both did well, hopefully they respond within 5 days so I can prepare for the AC (if I get in tho lol)
