Just had the Barclays assessment centre and it was weird. There was no group activities but there was a 50 minute interview and the questions were so strange. Did any of you take part in any projects or something cause there was like 5 questions only on your experiences in project work(team based i think).

I’ve never done a project before 💀💀💀
In that case I would make something up
Or I would talk about something at school like an event or a trip

thats what i'm saying. The questions were long, they asked what obstacles did you face in a project, if there were any compromises you had to make in a project, a time when you exceeded expectations in a project and in depth questions about the job role. Hopefully the kpmg one isn't like that, I've got a feeling Barclay thought I was a graduate cause what school leaver has that much experience.

yes it is , i thought being in manchester they would put me in the north one but theyve put me in the on the 6th which means a very long travel which is great and the hotels are so expensive in the area aswel . my launch pad is at half 7 in the morning.

Ohhh we didn’t get the same time slot, mines 12-6 basically (that’s so long…)

KPMG is paying for travel and hotels up to £100 so pls get in touch with them

there’s a travelodge, premier inn and holiday inn right next to the excel centre, check prices and let kpmg know so they can pay

That’s hell, all the Londoners got 12-6 which is stupid of them, idk why they gave you guys an early time considering the distance, you’re gonna have to get a hotel the day before

Trains are impossible to catch in the morning cus they start running at 5 ish

U just have to reach out to people on LinkedIn, all of mine are apprentices so they literally know what to do, yhh kpmg is my first option, if I don’t get in I’ll loose my head 🥲

Yeah u need to be outgoing and productive, so I had to message them first and since then they all mentor me, do practice questions together etc and I’ll probably mention in the final interview that I reached out to KPMG employees and asked them about their work etc, if it’s relevant to any questions they ask, yeah Ofc, I have snap insta and LinkedIn , what’s yours?
