Reapplying Oxford Masters

Hello!

I'm really keen to apply for one/two courses I'm interested in at Oxford. Realistically I'm not looking at starting till the 2025 academic year, I will be able to submit a far stronger application by then. However, would it be to my detriment to submit an application for 2024?

I know I'm unlikely to get in, so disappointment isn't my concern. And, if I was successful it would be amazing to start a year early. But, if I don't get in is there a chance it could negatively affect me when I would then reapply for 2025?

I turn 24 in the next few weeks so part of me feels like I could be a lot older than my peers by the time 2025 comes around!
