Explaining Interrupted Studies on CV

Hi,

I have just graduated with a masters degree. I'm putting together my CV for post grad applications. I will have to put my degree time from 2018-2023.

Since employers recognise gaps in dates, how would I address this in my CV? I interrupted my studies due to feeling extremely burnt out and issues with my mental health. I don't want this to reflect badly on me and for employers to take it as a sign that I am unreliable etc.

During the year off I spent time working and helping to grow my brother's business. I used my time off productively to some degree, is this something worth mentioning?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks (:.

I would just put: Gap Year (dates) - Working in role of assistant / volunteer x - Explain the lines of work and skills and experiences gained
