Neck HURTS after hickdy

My boyfriend gave me a hickey two nights ago and ever since my neck has been hurting on that side. For example when I turn my neck to other other side it is aching like hell. I’ve read online that once a woman ended up getting a stroke from a hickey and now I’m very worried. What do I do? Is this normal? I’ve had hickeys before, that were given far more aggressively but they never hurt, this was gentle but somehow hurts like hell. It’s been hurting since mid day yesterday, I thought if I slept it off it’ll get better but it still hurts waking up this morning!
