Online courses on personal statement

Can unis check if you have lied about completing an online course? Specifically, an OpenLearn course

Listing a course that you completed is worthless so it’s irrelevant.

Same as with reading a book, watching a docu, work experience etc. Listing them doesn’t give you any credit, reflecting on the content critically does.

Thanks for your advice but I do know that - it’s not that i’m not going to take part in the course content at all, it’s just that the one I’m taking is quite long and I was wondering was if unis would know if I haven’t completed the WHOLE thing

They won’t and they won’t care one way or another.
