Apprenticeships in Travel??

I am 99% sure A Levels are what I will do, I am just curious about particular types of apprenticeships, I want to travel the world, but I personally think doing it earlier leaves more time for careers etc in the future. Does anyone know anything about apprenticeships that are journalism based/ geography based/NGO based that involve travelling. I know if there were, they would probably be extremely popular and I would know about them, but I thought it was better to ask then never know at all!
