It says there will be a corporate welcome reception in early July (on the civil service internship website), events throughout the internships and a closing off event in September.

Hi guys, it's been a while since someone last put a comment here but are you all 1st or 2nd year university students? When is the best time to apply for this internship? I'm just starting university this year and I have a few internships in mind, so if anyone can give some info about their experience, that'd be great! Thank you :smile:

Doing my online tests at the moment - what did other people get for feedback in their Using Data section?

Mine says 'Your responses to Using Data demonstrated some capability to successfully perform calculations, and evaluate and interpret numerical information to solve problems. In this respect your performance on this assessment is the same as most other people who previously took the test.'

I don't know if this bodes well?

How long after completing the tests was the gap before submitting the additional information and motivation statement? And how long after submitting those did you hear back about your telephone interviews? Thank you.

Last year, I did my test in October, did extra information a week later, got an interview scheduled for December 3rd. Heard back from interview in March.

1st of July 6-8 weeks. Paid sick days 2 weeks after starting. Work from home 2 days a week if you want. 1 holiday day every 2 weeks. So can build up 4 holiday days if your internship is 8 weeks.

Hi, I am currently waiting for a reply from the SIP but I am on a placement rn. My placements end and SIP beginning overlap by 4 weeks. I was just wondering from the people that have completed the SIP how good is the experience your getting? And, how much of an advantage does it give you when applying for the Civil service scheme? Thank you
