interesting but spoons aren't guns. a person isn't going to but a gun to knock a nail in. when a person buys a gun there not buying for sport like you would a football, a gun has one sole purpose and that is to kill things.
in the 21st century what is the need of guns in civilised society?
how many world wars, holocausts, high school shootings does it take before people learn that the gun has one purpose that is to kill.
If the sole purpose for buying a gun is to kill things, then why is it that most people who own guns never use them for killing?

The PS2 is meant to be great for hand eye co-ordination. How does it help you day to day hand to eye?
well you get great at playing the PS2.
If you get great hand eye co-ordination with a gun does it mean that 'skill' can be transferred into something OTHER than firing a gun, like tennis, squash, basketball?
Hell no
Its a stupid circular argument

You already posted this once.

Furthermore, hand-eye coordination development in any sport does carry over into others. It's the same reason why professional athletes take up secondary sports that can further develop their skills. For instance, ice hockey goaltenders, who require tremendous hand-eye coordination, will frequently take up badminton, table-tennis, archery, or shooting in the off-season to keep from getting rusty.

but in hockey its about objects coming towards you, and reacting to them. there is no such skill equired to shoot a gun

Then why do professional athletes continue to profess benefits in doing sports which are not the exact same activity that is required of them? Also, studies have shown that shooting recreationally as a youth improves spacial perception. I hardly consider it to be mere coincidence that people who partake in activities which develop hand-eye coordination find it much easier to learn a sport, like hockey or baseball, which requires a higher level of hand-eye coordination than average.

if you are simply trying to develop spatial awareness you can easily use a BB gun. It certainly makes no difference to your cerebellum

BB guns do not have the same trigger sensitivity as a gun that fires bullets. Even if the trigger mechanism is adjusted by the user, BB guns can never be sensitive enough where the user has to control breathing and muscle tension, as is necessary when firing a real gun.

Then you ackowledge that people will kill animals for pleasure, not always in order to eat what they kill?
So, you're anti-hunting too? Good Lord, anti-paintball AND anti-hunting! Tell me, what do you do for fun exactly?

handgun ownership is in no way positive - how many high school shooting will it take before people learn that letting the majority of people have weapons is totally insane.
And how long do we have to listen to bedwetters like you moaning about a problem that doesn't really affect you since guns are pretty much illegal in your country anyway?

My brother once executed someone in a paintball game.

It was a hostage game whereby one team had to invade the other team's hideout to rescue the hostage. My brother was standing guard over the hostage who started to shout directions to the other team...."watch out on the left"......that sort of thing.....so my bro shot the guy in the back of the head!

As a socialist surely you shouldn't be advocating making something more exclusive, and available to an even smaller group? We are all equal...

We cannot have a society where the left-wingers in power have guns and the common citizens do not. We can already see what happens when government has unchecked power with the Labour party. Nu Labour encourage non-whites to flood Britain even though the majority of the people are against it. We are robbed blind through taxes and those taxes go to public assistance for these immigrants. Hate crime laws are made against us so we can't speak out, but muslims like Hamza are mostly allowed to preach their anti-British hate even when they are in the very land that belongs to us. That's not the kind of government I would trust with sole ownership of all the weapons.

As far as I'm concerned we need as many guns as our leftist rulers have.

i agree that guns are designed to release bullets at a high velocity. But generally not designed to kill anyone! You can use a pole bar to kill human or animals because if you smack it around someones head i'm sure they'll drop dead but thats not the purpose of pole bars like guns, knifes etc...
