It’s also possible they have not reviewed some applications because i know of someone who is a computer engineering major and another who is a systems engineering major but not yet rejected even though they both have background in programming.

ETSE is a North American pipeline so it's a different pipeline, I don't think that we can predict the AC on the basis of ETSE super day....
But still....
When did they have their hirevue?
Do they review applications based on geographic location?

I think the Tech Connect program posted this year was late as compared to previous years, this year it was posted in mid-September in place of an August start as compared to previous years is this the reason why we haven't heard back yet?
Any idea guys?

I think it was later than September because this event; https://jpmc.recsolu.com/app/collect/event/XS70-DKQyauupAJ6eRCtFA held on October 10. The application was probably opened around this time.

If it's based on background, they wouldn't have made it to the HireVue round I think.

Guys mail her regarding tech connect AC, may be someone of us gets a reply then do share it here.

Nah, That’s going too far. LinkedIn is enough. If she doesn’t reply. We just have to wait

I think everyone gets hirevue regardless of background, or am I wrong? Coz no one so far was rejected after hackerrank

I think I saw somewhere in one of the previous years on this forum where candidates got rejected after submitting their applications. Also, the variation in different timelines with which candidates receive their Hackerrank and HireVue indicates some sort of initial screening I guess.

Nah. Emailing her is too far. Please delete this text. I've also messaged her on LinkedIn, let's see if she'd respond.

It does say on the Tech Connect page that "We’re looking for diverse candidates who do not have a background in computer science or coding" - perhaps the people you mentioned might have completed non-programming education during their GCSEs and A-Levels.

They also use the employee 'Ece Batmaz' (https://careers.jpmorgan.com/global/en/news-and-stories/ece-batmaz) where she explains her story on how she got into the Tech Connect program and even she took a major in Computer Information Systems where she took 'two programming classes' as mentioned on the site. So I guess even if you have a degree in Computer Science but do not have programming-related GCSEs or A-Levels, you are considered.

Hello I have given the HireVue Interview in December last month. Still no update for me . What about you??

No update for me either.

As told by one girl who submitted her hire vue on the 3rd of November got rejected on the 14th of December and one guy's friend who submitted his hire vue on the 29th of November got rejected on the 18th of December then those who submitted their hire vue in between these time zone should have got reject or an interview call by now as the hiring is on a rolling basis but it does not seem like going on as expected anyone wanna put their opinion?

I guess those of us who didn't get a rejection mail in December will soon be invited for the Super Day interview. They're probably done reviewing all the HireVues and have rejected those that didn't pass, so they're left with the candidates that they want to invite for the final interview.

Also, I don't think any Super Day has been had yet, if it has, we'd have seen someone on the internet asking what they should expect and how they can prepare for the interview. Seeing as we can't see any trace of that on the internet, then it's safe to say no interview has been had yet.

Agreed. We'd have seen something on Reddit or on here by now if there were people heading to Superdays. I'd advise everyone to just chill out - worrying at this point won't get you anywhere.

I finished my application since the mid of October and if it was by time of final application, I should have gotten a feedback by now compared to those who finished late November, early December. So I’m guessing that it’s either we have been approved for AC or they are still reviewing a lot of applications from over a thousand individuals. I applied to the London office and a lot of people did as well compared to the other offices.

I think they will engage candidates in a kind of group activity to screen/select candidates as the number of participants is huge in number and calling everyone one by one for the interview is simply not possible.
