A lot of people at my school found Seneca really useful over GCSEs, especially for the sciences. I didn’t use it for my CS gcse but i used it for my sciences. The thing that really works with Seneca is that it gives you the information in a summarised form with examples, and then after it gets you to actively recall the information it just gave you. That’s really good for short term memory; a better website i might recommend it Gizmo.ai , it was developed by Cambridge alumni and it helps to actively recall, but it uses the spaced repetition method which is the best method for long term revision in my opinion.

Seneca is great if you want a simplified version of the info you need to learn (which is helpful for content-heavy subjects like geography for example) and I found it helpful for giving inferences and model paragraphs for my english lit gcse (for the texts/poems you're studying). Apart from that, it doesn't do anything much, so don't rely solely on seneca. For cs, I'd recommend csnewbs because it gives you way more summarised info and only the bits you really need.

Personally for me, Seneca (mostly) and Cognito got me a 9 in Bio and Physics- I love the way they explain things, and theyve also newly updated.
I literally recommend it to everyone. For English tho...not so much, you're better of using YouTube to watch Mr Bruff, or Mr Salles online, instead.

When i did my gcse's i found cognito a lot more memorable than when i used freesciencelessons for my mocks. But it's all just preference in my opinion they're both amazing just depends on how you engage with like more pictures or more talking

I really need to improve my Chemistry in the next mock, and alot of ppl do recommend me freescience lessons. I've watched his videos too- just prefer Cognito due to dual coding and all.
