Rolls Royce Degree Apprenticeship/Graduate Scheme 2023/24

Hello, I've applied for an apprenticeship in engineering at Rolls-Royce, and I'm just waiting on their decision of whether or not they'll invite me to an assessment centre or not. They advised they would take between 4 to 6 weeks, and it is nearing the end of their said deadline. I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same/similar boat to me?

Me too! 6 weeks from the date they sent their email should be the 8th of April. If I don't get an email by then I will email them again. You should probably do the same.

Nice to know I'm not the only one! Yeah I'll email them a reminder a couple days after the 8th if I don't get an email by then. I'll also let you know on here if I get a response, although we'll both probably get a reply at the same time.

Hello, I'm yet to receive an email so I'm just hoping for the best. Did you apply for the one in Derby or Bristol? I applied for Derby so maybe the different sites are processing the applications at different speeds? Good luck at your AC!

Hi sorry for the late reply and thanks I hope I do well at the AC. I applied to the one in Solihull! You are right tho each area probably process the applications at different speeds. I applied in Jan and got a response 2 days ago so..

Yeah I'll just wait a couple more days before chasing them up. I also applied mid-February so my application is probably towards the bottom of the pile, hopefully it shouldn't be too long now

do it on something you have actual knowledge in (e.g. dont do it on something youve just looked up) they might ask questions on the topic so its best to have first peron knowledge of what youre presenting on

I'm not too sure either, just take the advice the others gave in this chat previously, like what bluegray said above me. You'll be fine!

not doing the grad scheme but apprenticeship in derby
I'm still waiting on an interview for the engineering apprenticeship in Derby, I emailed RR a couple weeks ago and since then I've been told to wait. Is anyone else in a similar position?

I'm guessing they just have a really high number of applicants doing interviews probably in the hundreds, on the bright note, I've just been given an offer for another degree apprenticeship scheme, so I'm not really that stressed now, knowing I've got options.

Yeah, the waiting kills you honestly 😅. I've got exams too and I just want a decision so that I can fit my interview practice around my revision
Hi, I applied in January and not long after passing the aptitude test, I received a message saying that I had passed “basic training” and that I was moving on to the next phase. Does this mean they are happy with my application and want me to do an interview when they are ready or does it mean they may but also might not.

Pretty sure it just means you’re not gonna be shortlisted, for getting a low score.

Damn the double algorithm questions screwed me over. They really confuse me.
