I'm doing some coursework and have been given a study to compare (I'm not a statistician to say the least).
Effectively it is comparing 328 women divided into 4 different groups and comparing their blood calcium.
82 breast fed and were given a placebo 82 breast fed and were given a supplement 82 bottle fed and were given a placebo 82 bottle fed and were given a supplement
Is there a particular name for this type of study? I'm currently writing up about the study regarding it's variables but want to know if this particular study type has a specific name other than something such as "comparative study"?
The results have been given to us (standard deviation and mean) of each group.
