    ooh, good answer.. :p:

but in terms of the other type of fitness, not sure how the current men's first compare to the Headship crew - shall have to undertake some close inspection in the name of research.. :dancing2:

Which colleges are in the top five for rowing, in order, if you please?
    controversial question..

if you go by bumps results:

Summer 8s = Magdalen, Oriel, Pembroke, Exeter, someone or other
Torpids = Pembroke/Oriel, New, Magdalen, someone or other

off the top of my head..note my rather personal college-centric view.. :p:

but this doesn't take into account women's rowing (which i know little about), size of boat club, age of boat club, money of boat club yada yada yada.

it depends...you mean womens/mens and are we going on up and coming Novices (and thus considering ChCh regatta results?) or previous year's crews for Torpids/Eights?

Generally, Pembroke, Magdalen & Oriel are big rowing names, (but Hertford I think are really up and coming, esp their WNA's last term who were impressive) but most of the larger colleges field pretty good rowers (my crew are on the look out for a v.fit Univ stroke from last term...ne-one know who we're talking about?!) as they have money to spend on good boats/coaches etc etc. New seem to be good too (they had one of our coaches last term!) especially their women and likewise Exeter are good for the men). For a small college I would say that Lincoln is pretty damn good! Come on Lincoln W1 in Isis Winter League 2moz :proud: :champ:

Clearly the man is more interested in coming to Cambridge.....so here's what I know about the bumps atm:

Lent Bumps top 5: Caius, Trinity FaT, Downing, LMBC, Tit Hall and then Emmanuel
May Bumps top 5: Caius, St Catz, Tit Hall, Downing, LMBC

In terms of current up and coming crews, for men, Jesus is quite obviously the best crew out on the cam this term, Downing and Caius a close 2nd and third, then it's my boat (emmanuel) and Queens' battling for 4th place.

Unfortunately Jesus are right behind us in the bumps.....so gah!

And you can never have too much boatie talk...especially when you're a boatie yourself!
