Camp America 2024 - A-Level Exams

Hi,
I'm hoping to get a placement at a Camp America camp this summer as a sailing instructor (interview tomorrow!!) and I'm wondering whether setting my availability dates to the latest will impact my application significantly.

The website says I need to available before the 30th of June but looking at the camps list it looks like most begin around the 20-25th. My last A-Level exam might not be until around the 25th.

Does anyone have any experience doing Camp America after A-Levels, and did the dates impact your application in any way??

Hey, I had a similar dilemma last year!! I ended up asking ‘Camp America’ this on their Instagram page, as well as some YouTubers who have been too. They said that going later would limit your options on the camps you can attend. However, they said to still apply. I decided not to go last year because of results day etc. So, I am hoping to do it this year instead. :smile:
