How long does Tesco usually take to get back to you after application?

Obviously, it's probably going to vary between stores, but I really need a job soon and I'm getting a little pissed off that I keep either getting no response or denial letters/emails from everywhere I apply.

While, of course, nothing is a given I'm guessing that I've got a much higher chance of success applying to somewhere such as Tesco than other smaller chains that aren't in such regular need of staff at all times.

In general, how long have you found it takes for Tesco to get back about an interview/denial of application and also, does anyone know roughly what they pay per hour for a 17 year old?

I got a reply the next morning about an interview although, they haven't come back to me yet about whether I have the job and its 2 days after my interview. When will they reply to me?
