Guidance forcing Adv Higher students to take a Nat 5
I'm a sixth year student in Scotland, currently taking three Advanced Highers and a Higher. Our PSE teacher is making us take an extra Nat 5 and she won't submit our UCAS forms until we add a pending 'Wellbeing Award' to our qualifications. Nobody asked to do this, and I'm fairly sure unis don't give a **** about this kind of thing. No information's been provided, except that it starts in January, there's no exam and we'll do it during PSE and study. I've asked her repeatedly if I can opt out, but she won't let me. Should I be able to drop it?
