Dropping out of my Masters but paid my tuition in full

I paid for my masters tuition with my savings and have told them I'm dropping out due to mental health and being a carer. The problem is, I paid for my Masters in full (£11,000) and that was all of my savings, I understand I won't get my deposit or my first term back, but will the university issue me a refund for the next two terms? Otherwise I'm really struggling financially and will still have student finance to immediately repay back in a plan as well as my other bills and expenses while I try to find a job that will allow me to care for my family member
Any help/insight would be great!
Hi,
Sorry to hear about you dropping out of your studies due to mental health. It takes a lot to decide to do what's best for you.
Most universities offer a section on their website to help with this exact question, this usually lives in a postgraduate tuition fees page. Unfortunately every university is different but if you contact yours directly and explain the circumstances their may be a chance that you can get some of this money back.
Hoping things improve for you,
Best of luck,
Meg 🙂
