i think they did do 2 days ! so i think they should roughly admit about half the applicants they interviewed. how did ur interview go??

Ahh fair! Hmm, I don't think that it went that well... it was just so so short, and I have the feeling that they don't know me better after the interview, because it was so short ahha

oh no i’m sure they still know you!!! what questions did they ask you? did they make any comments after or during ur interview. also how did u handle the specific research questions??? like did u manage to answer the ones they gave you. also also , i felt it was rather like to the point idk mine lasted about 20 minutes, but like they were quite friendly so i can’t quite gage it? i answered the questions that they gave me about my research project so i hope maybe that might be okay hah!

They asked me why I applied, the research and my funding options. The scientific questions went quite good, but I wasn't prepared to defend my Gates application at all. It took 10 minutes, but they seemed happy, but I don't know haha

Just had to argue why I would be good candidate for Gates Scholar, but I wasn't prepared for that question at all hah

omg ?? still tbh it wasn’t a complete rejection and a lot of the time ppl come off of the waitlist so this is still really positive and you’re not out of the competition at all yet! what did the email say??

That they would consider my application if there happens to be an available spot later this year. But no, it's not a complete rejection, but it still feels like that )
