Interview for PhD in Philosophy at Cambridge

I was recently offered an interview for the philosophy PhD programme at Cambridge. Has anybody else had an interview for this programme in the past? If so, I'd love some insight into the kinds of questions I can expect to be asked. I'm super nervous!

Hi! It didn't go very well, sadly, and I'm actually reapplying this year. I was interviewed by two members of the Faculty of Philosophy, one of whom was the proposed supervisor I'd listed on my application. From what I remember, the questions focused primarily on my research proposal. The proposal was a bit wishy-washy, and the interviewers seemed to have the wrong idea of what I imagined my PhD project would be about. I was super nervous and didn't clarify until later in the interview, which I suspect contributed to the poor outcome. The interviewers pressed me on a few aspects of the proposal (e.g., 'Do you think X is plausible?'), but I can't remember what else I was asked about. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful! Good luck with your interview!

Did you receive any information yet? I got my interview between 14 and 16 January, they say, and have received nothing yet.
