hii my school sent mine off on the 8th of december and i got an offer from city yesterday ! so one month :biggrin:

also dw the unis still have loads of time to give out offers so i'm sure u'll hear back soon

Hi I am in year 12 right now. I want to apply optomtery at city as my first choice. But when applying on ucas I need to put 4 other choices in Im not sure what to do. I know I am set on optom at city and i dont want to go too a uni that is further away like cardiff or manchester (that also do optom). what did you do for your other 4 choices. I am really struggling pls help :frown:

In your personal statement you can talk about eye diseases, medication, etc and that can allow you to apply for other science related courses e.g. biology

Hey, I was really stuck on optometry at CUL too, my other four options were actually architecture! I knew I wasn't going to go for them anyways so they just filled the space when applying. If city is the only option you'd be happy with, the other four choices don't really matter :smile:
