A combination of when you feel ready and when you have suitable partner. To clarify a suitable partner will not pressure you if you do not feel ready but if you do not have romantic partner, do not go out and have sex with a random just cos you feel ready. I personally was 17 and my boyfriend at the time as 19 we were both virgins and each other first serious partner.
