hello from Easter break!
I have 4 things to do whilst on break but for rn I'm playing Stardew Valley
I'm really proud of my progress so far, so this is a reminder for everyone to just sit down

i'd planned to finish all my homework the first week, and revise all my subjects the second, but... yeah, that is just so unachievable 😭 i've narrowed my to-do list down to four things as well! good luck with them, and enjoy easter break while it lasts.
also do you play stardew valley on desktop or nintendo?

year 13. the final frontier. (not really. it's the equivalent of y12 everywhere else because northern ireland counts reception as a year, like the scottish system)
i don't know how to do the fancy stuff on here, so the blog shall just be blocks of text I'm sorry 🥹🥹

year 13. the semifinal frontier.
for a bit of background, hi, I'm Orb (not my real name but I'm not taking chances) I'm an as student (obvi) studying English Literature, History and Politics. I'm predicted to get high grades in all, but I particularly want to get A*, A, A and my best bet for the A* is english atm (delusional)
In English we are studying Jane Eyre, A Streetcar Named Desire, Carol Ann Duffy and Philip Larkin (🤢🤮 specifically for larkin)
In History it is Russia from 1917- 1941 and also Yahtzee Germany/Democracy in Germany from 1919-1945
And in politics we are studying the British government and every day I grow more depressed looking at them.
This blog exists to hold me accountable and look at study methods I've found but anyone who reads this will have to sign an NDA/j
I'll probably be back later with a rant.

I hate doing work at home because this is not the environment for me to concentrate in
School starts back up again tomorrow and tbh I will be taking advantage of my free periods to finish my work and print out my essays

well done!! I will be doing the same, can't believe I actually want to get back to school

welcome to the phase where orb has an existential crisis over politics
I've also finished A Streetcar Named Desire in class and I'm now writing yet another essay about Blanche bc she seems to be the easiest subject to put a 60 marker on for the exam board (both practice 60 markers including this one has mentioned Blanche)
Politics is going...well as you expect for someone living IN northern ireland with the recent scandal with a certain party leader
We haven't finished the course yet which is frustrating meeeeeeAAAAA
and of course the looming of the Germany exam
(praying the Weimar Republic doesn't come up and praying that The Enabling Act and Gleichshaltung does)
Also I got into STO online but I've heard nothing from the summer school but apparently someone has been emailed already and I'm scared WHAT IF I GET REJECTED FROM THE SUMMER SCHOOL AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

yeah it is sutton
sucks that you didn't get in though, but maybe you will get into the summer school because they seem to function separately
I'm still holding out hope and I won't know properly until May
