starting to form together a personal statement for uni using the builder STO provides
So
I think I should talk about *what the hell possessed me to choose law*
and what form of law I wish to go into
I want to eventually specialise in medical negligence law because let's face it, every medical service across the country suffers from bad doctors that upset the balance, awful waiting times and misdiagnosis
(especially for people assigned female at birth) Whilst I do believe that the NHS is an organisation that deserves so much better than what it has, there are still people who have been mistreated by a trust or by its doctors
I want to specialise in obstetric, perinatal and neonatal negligence specifically because fun fact about me--if my heart wasn't so set on law this would be a gyg about midwifery
mini rant over byeee

oooh that area of law sounds really interesting!! if you need any help with your personal statement at all I'd be happy to give you a hand

ty!
if I do I'll definitely let you know
mistake: essay due THURSDAY
anyways today was chill, got caught in the rain, spent too much money on disturbia
but I was looking at a history past paper for Russia...
Tbh it was not bad
LNAT DREAD TIME
I was looking at the lnat page and the questions scared me a little bit but also I never trust my brain after 9pm
tomorrow I hope to get more of that damn essay done and actually try and study
Good morning!!
just realised how obscure my main exam board is so
For the uninitiated I do the CCEA and WJEC exam boards
what does that entail?
idk
But from what I've seen on TSR they're not common at all because I'm assuming a lot of you are from England
Anyways this means that the content I'm studying is wayyyy out of whack (I think) with everyone else
CCEA:
The Northern Irish exam board, we have one for the whole country and they are BIG FAT MEANIES
they're kind of just looking at AQA and Edexcel content and going...mine
WJEC:
WALES!! WHAT THE HELL IS A POPTY PING 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
all seriousness though I don't know what's going on here
Accidentally uninstalled TSR from my phone whoopsies
But anyways burnout is hitting me so so HARD
I feel a wee bit dumb for not revising as much as I should but also my brain genuinely feels foggy and my executive dysfunction says no
I also feel like I should explain a little more about myself for context
I have
Dyspraxia
Which sucks because I could never be sporty, literally not hardwired into my system
And dyspraxia
Apparently causes executive dysfunction!
for the uninitiated executive dysfunction is kind of like a lagging pc game
I know what I want to do
I'm trying to do it
But my body simply won't let me and I'll stress over it, but exterior wise I just look like I'm being rather lazy
But I always manage to pull through (somewhat)
me when I'm seriously considering applying to Oxford because you miss 100% of the shots you don't take
Because the minimum is 3 As for law right
Do I know that the majority will have higher grades?
Yes, I do
Do I know my chances are slim?
Yes, I do
And LNAT scores are factored in as well?
Yes
But you know what you never know unless you try

Exactly, if you don't try there will always be the 'what if' at the back of your mind!

YEAH, like
I know I'll do well on my exams based on my trackers and such
It doesn't hurt to try if I get the right predicted grades

(Although I will admit the section I'm not looking forward to is UK government and politics because that exam is a bit far from my other ones)

REALLL SO REAL
I'm praying it's an essay question on the prime ministers so I can go
"Margaret thatcher was presidental
Sunak isn't"
and just be done WITH IT
ucas dread should become a documented phenomenon because my school gave us the date for setting up our ucas accounts and its starting to feel too real
me vs the ccea exam board because the 2023 past paper for Germany is COPYRIGHTED
ugh
I have the 2022 edition but I also wanted to nosy through the 2023 edition to try and predict the 2024 questions
why must the exam board FOIL MEEEE
I like how this gyg has become instead watching me slowly fall into madness
