I am not familiar with a level revision but it sounds like something to give one a heartburn. You’re already accepted, everything will fall into its place!

I’d love to hear more about Cambridge. Did you get to visit your college?

a-levels are the exact reason why everything may not fall into place! its the exams we do in england before undergrad degrees, cambridge give a conditional offer and you need to hit certain grades to be accepted after these exams.

and yes i visited my college!! i was put in Murray Edwards, and its really lovely there, i definitely appreciated it being slightly out of the centre, and it seemed like a place i would be happy in and able to work well. as a whole, cambridge is stunning and just seems really perfect for students. there is a lot to do in the area (and lots of great places to eat) and so many places to work, which to be honest i hadn't seen in some other unis i looked at. the museums there were also super cool!! definitely check them out when you go !!

The exams sound horrifying. That said, (a) you’ll never have to sit them again, and (b) Cambridge and ASNC wouldn’t have extended an offer to you if they weren’t sure you’d ace the A levels.

Did you get a chance to visit the University Library? I am so jealous you can check out the town. Likely I won’t make it to the UK before August so I am using the street view on Google Maps.

Hey, I'm also an offer holder for the ASNC MPhil. I've never actually been to Cambridge, so once I know my college I'll come and visit for a weekend. Still need to finish my undergrad now which feels weird lol.

Ooh congratulations! What are you currently studying for your undergrad?

Omg hi! I applied for ASNC at Clare, but they only accept one or two students a year so I'm going crazy waiting till the 24th. How's everyone feeling?

Hi, I'm the current ASNC at Clare! I believe there was one student accepted this year - if it was you, please feel free to get in touch! If not, I'm really sorry and wish you the best of luck elsewhere. ASNC at Clare has a very low intake so don't be discouraged. I've been the only student for the last two years, and I believe there was only one for the three years before me too!

Hi, yes that was me! I'd love to get in touch and hear about the college and the course, especially since we are the only two

hi!! im currently a prospective student applying for entry in 2026 in ASNC and was wondering if you could help me since ASNC is not a common course. how was your whole application process like and how did the interview go? i'm not really familiar with the UK style of interviewing since im from the US. were there any specifics or knowledge based questions the interviewers asked? also, how is the ASNC community at cambridge, and is there a lot of interaction with students doing other courses? and how is churchill? thanks a lot.
