Started working at fast food (McDonalds)

Ive just started working at mcdonalds, and ive just started shifts without training, I feel a little lost, I havent been trained fully on things, i dont know how to do certain things (drive thru presenting, fries like sticking them into fryer setting timer, and a bit of presenting in store, I only know how to put fries on tray and drinks and serve them), I have some questions:

1) Is it ok being slow at first, I feel really slow and I think they got stressed with me a little

2) how do I manage sorting out bev cell with drinks aswell as drive thru

Hey, sorry you’ve been finding it hard. I’ve worked there for 3 years now and it will get easier! I felt like that at the start too. If you aren’t being trained on a certain station, say to one of the managers in your store and they can organise training.
Dropping fries is easy, next time your on shift even ask someone to show you. Presenting you’ll be able to pick up someday, it’s just about handing out the right food to the right car.
Don’t worry about being slow, everyone is slow and new at first. With practice you’ll get faster. Drinks and drive thru can be difficult at first especially when it’s busy. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Hope this helps 🙂
