Does anyone have like hyperbritish book recs? I love dry british humour like in The Thursday Murder Club. But I also love a good book thats set on a london council estate, lol.

Maybe you'd like the CHERUB series!
I have begun to read the diary of Max Frisch in his time at the military service. The first book for an eternity.

If it makes you feel better, I re-read them when I was 22/23 years old to decide if I still wanted to keep them (I own them all) and still found them fantastic! Like you, I love that they tackle real-world issues and I get some real noughties nostalgia when reading them.
I have got my faschination about Greek Mythology back and began to read the myths with passion.

I love greek mythology, which of the myths are you interested in or read so far?

The death and battles of the brothers polymicles and eteocles. That was the last chapter I read.

They're certainly easy reads! You can also read Henderson's Boys (a prequel series) if you run out of CHERUB (series 1 & 2).
TSR BOOK CLUB COMEBACK 📖
Thank you everyone for your patience for the return of TSR Book Club! For now, I am thinking of trialling our previous format where we leave suggestions and then vote for the books! However, if we find out that we don't like this, then obviously we can switch a few things up !

So without further ado, please leave suggestions for November Book of the Month here: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7531073

For two days I read the Arabian fairy-tales of One Thousand And One Night and they are admittedly creative in narration. It is just a bit too much violence for my taste.
