Hi, my application is being on hold as well. They do send direct rejection to candidates who do not show a good sustainability in the interview . They also made direct offer to some strong applicants right after the interview. Indeed, from what I heard so far, I think the majority are being put in the on hold pool this year, not sure if they did the same previously. Anyway, this isn’t the end of the game. I guess the door is still open for us!!! Let’s see if any good news comes in the next few weeks. Good luck everybody

Computer Engineering, with more than 7 years if exp. in big tech like Intel

yes so it was challenging as my question was challenging itself (was related to economics and specific taxes rather than engineering) which is not something I was aware of but I tried to reason as much as possible. We also didnt talk much about motivations.
My background is process / systems / mechanical engineering at amazon, analytics and stats in an international organisation, now policy in a think tank…

No worries, your background is outstanding. I am curious about the length of the interview. Seems like a shorter interview is a better sign and more promising (just a random observation). Many of those offer holders in the past said they just got 3-4 questions and completed really quick like in 15 minutes. Mine was longer than that, around 25.
