A level physics electric field mcq

What is the acceleration of an electron at a point in an electric field where the field strength is 1.5 × 105 V m–1?

A 1.2×10^6 ms–2
B 1.4×10^13 ms–2
C 2.7×10^15 ms–2
D 2.6×10^16 ms–2

My first thought was maybe equating the force of a charge formula to circular motion equations but I don’t think charges travel in circular motion in electric fields ?

Recall that electric field strength is equivalent to the force per unit charge on a small positive test charge.

So we can multiply the field strength by the elementary charge to find the force and then divide by the mass of an electron to find the acceleration
