It’s been a while haha 🙃 I’ve not been active as I went abroad to see my family for Easter, but I’m ready to get back on the academic grind
Tasks for today:
Maths - eqations and inequations, circle geometry, indices (and scatter graphs if I have time)
Geography - limestone, rivers (and climate change possibly)
Bio - if I have time I will try to get some bio hw done, but I doubt I will get round to it.
Also as a side note, I wanted to mention my Spanish speaking results as I said I would in a previous post  I thought I would have to redo my exam because I forgot so much of my entire talk but turns out I got full marks?! I was so shocked when my teacher told me ahah but I was genuinely so happy !

Omg I'm so proud of you for your Spanish speaking, that's incredible!!!

Friday 19th April
It's been a while since I updated this hahah
I've been so busy, but at the same time have hit a major procrastination slump and haven't been able to revise for more than an hour recently :frown: I'm really trying to get back into the flow of things but my first exam is in 3 days 😧 and I'm freaking out because I'm feeling so unprepared - I feel like I forgot everything since my prelim! But we push through 💪 Will update tomorrow, with a goal of at least 2-3hrs revision !

Saturday 20th April🎉
Turned 16 today 🥳 so I haven’t really been able to study as I’ve been cleaning and generally celebrating with friends and family. It’s a bit late but I’ll try to get at least some revision today
Tasks for now:

Geography Quizlet flash cards

Part of a Geography past paper

Watch a Mr Graham maths video

Today was the official first day of study leave, so I managed to get a grand total of 5 hours 19 mins geography revision done! I’m very proud of it, I think the fact that my Geography exam is tomorrow 😨 has given me that last push of motivation. My exam is at 1pm tomorrow so that’ll give me at least 2 hours revision time before hopefully. But I’m really nervous as this is the first proper exam I’ll do! I feel unprepared, but I think it’s like with every kind of assessment, where the more you study the more you realise how much you actually don’t know. But I’d say I have done a good amount of revision so I should be fine  probably not as much as I should have done, but I’ve been putting in the work throughout the year during class and for tests so I’m hoping it will pay off 🤞
Regardless, Geography is a subject where a lot of the time you just have to use common sense and waffle your way through it ahah so it should allow me to ease into the exam routine 🫶

First exam is now done and out the way
I'd say it wasn't as scary as I was expecting, and surprisingly I didn't get a hand cramp all the way up to the end lol. It was a mix really, some questions I was confident with and others not so much but I think it went well!
The formation of caverns came up which was the one that I was hoping that wouldn't come up 🫣 so I just rambled on about general limestone features haha
When I finished the paper I realised that I missed two pages - but I managed to almost get that filled in with the 20 minutes I had left.
Overall quite happy with how it went
Next exam is maths on the 3rd of may

I haven’t really been responding to gygs lately as I’ve been so busy, but I promise I’m reading them and so proud of all of your progress ! ❤️
As my maths exam is approaching I am beginning to seriously freak out 😂
I’ve still got some rusty topics to revise and I can’t seem to wrap my head around them so that is my plan for today. I’ve completed 3 past papers so far and in the middle of doing a 4th one. They have actually been really helping and now I just have to master quadratics, trig graphs, algebraic fractions and indices which is a lot but I’ve still got a little bit of time left so maybe I’ll manage to cover 2 of these today.

read chapter on algebraic fractions 📚

Maths exam is over ! No more maths exam stress, and I can now fully focus on my other exams. Both papers were pretty good, the questions were pretty straightforward. I had some struggles with quadratics, a trig equation and a weird arc and sector question but overall I’m predicting myself an A/B, which I’m very happy about! I’ve heard that others have found it easier than past papers so hoping the SQA doesn’t make the grade boundaries higher🤞
I’m not taking higher maths next year so I’m really hoping for an A to up my chances if I were to apply to a bsc course haha

As for now, I’m going to try to get 2 hours revision done today of English and Spanish which are my next 2 exams
