PGCE funding after 4 years undergrad

Hi, I know that I’m eligible for PGCE funding after doing 4 years of undergrad however I was just wondering when I’m able to apply for a course starting September 2024. When I log in to student finance it says to reapply now but as I’ve already done 4 years I’m not able to select the full time option. Does this mean the PGCE applications aren’t open yet so it’ll change so that I am able to select it or do I need to apply another way?
24/25 academic year funding applications aren’t open yet.

It’s usually available in February/March

Were you able to apply normally once they opened? I’m currently in my 4th year of undergrad (I did a foundation degree) so I have the same issue with the PGCE being the 5th year of study.

Hey! I'm also in the same boat with 4 years undergrad. I gave SFE a call and they said I will be eligible to apply so I think once it opens for reapplication it should be fine to submit as normal

PGCEs are not counted in the same way as regular degrees. But as already stated, they are not open for next year yet. Hang tight.
