Gap year for law students

I am thinking of taking a gap year because of my LNAT performance. I feel unsure about doing this because next year ucas won’t accept personal statement, etc which makes me feel like I will be all alone and overwhelmed with the new ucas application process. Additionally, I would like to keep one of my offers and reply again, but i’m not even sure if that’s possible, however i’ve heard you could keep an offer during your gap year but you would have to apply to unis separately without using ucas. I would appreciate some guidance!

Hi, next year’s UCAS will take personal statement- the new form of application doesn’t come into effect until 2026
