Can I get accepted to queen mary even when my alevel grades dont meet the requirement

I am applying for accounting and finance for second year entry in queen mary university. I already have my real A-level grades

Even if I don't meet the requirements would the admissions team even look at my personal statement at least?

Even though I don't meet the requirements what are the chances of me being accepted given that my personal statement is extremely good and I give valid reasons as to why my a-level grades were low? (I had severe family issues)

I would suggest contacting the admissions team or go on to their website and see if they have a live chat as they should be able to provide you with some information. Most universities make contextual offers which are usually a grade below the requirements however it may depend on the course you're looking at applying for.
