Meeting new people?

Hey hey!

I am just wondering if anyone can think of any places to go and meet new people other than university and the university societies and clubs? I really want to meet some new people and have no clue where to begin!

Talk randomly to strangers or people of your course/class.

just sit next to people you don't know in your lectures and strike up a conversation :smile:

its dead easy because you already know that you have all the course stuff in common.
Though if you've joined societies and things at uni then you probably have plenty of oppurtunities, socials etc., where you can meet people.

Pubs (not really nightclubs) Get a part time job

I think clubs are not the best place to meet people as the music is loud you dont have a chance to talk etc, as said pubs could be good but i think just mixing with people you dont know is the best method, so speaking to people you havent in your lectures etc.
