What happens to credits when being withdrawn?

So I was withdrawn from my university, I didn't pass the foundation year of my course by 40 credits so I didn't get an award. Am I able to transfer these credits to the same kind of course at a different university?
I’d be surprised if foundation year credits were transferrable, but you can always ask another uni and see what they say.

Would it more likely be transferable for a foundation degree? One plan i have is foing a FDA then a top up degree to make it a BA, but i'm 16 ucas points short of entry requirements

@PQ might be answer this.

My understanding is that it’s more likely, but it’s not really my area of expertise
