PhD with a first bachelor's and a pass master's

Hi! I'd like to pursue a PhD that requires a minimum 2.1 bachelor's degree but doesn't require a master's. Will my pass master's be an obstacle for my application if it's attached although my bachelor's is a first?

I only needed a mark to get a Merit, so it was so close.

I currently work as a lecturer and a researcher at a university in my country, thus having research and teaching experience. Can it be a booster for my application? I will also receive a sponsor from my government to fully fund my Ph.D. Is it a significant consideration for my application as well?

The additional experience would usually help to mitigate a poor performance at masters, yes. The funding is nice but isn't much (if anything) of a consideration.
