Can I apply to university and a degree apprenticeship at the same time?

Hello, I've applied to university through UCAS and I'm using the government website to apply to degree apprenticeships. My main goal is achieving a degree apprenticeship, but due to the obvious competition, I've applied to university as a safety net, just in case I don't earn the apprenticeship. Have I done something wrong or?...

That's a very good idea. Keeps your options open. There is nothing wrong with this at all.

Hey. I am now in year 12 but i would like to do the same. Only question is:
Does applying to a degree apprenticeship count as one of your 5 uni slots?

No, you don't apply to degree apprenticeships through UCAS. You apply directly to the company - it's the same process as applying to a job.
