My main goal is achieving a degree apprenticeship, but due to the obvious competition, I've applied to university as a safety net, just in case I don't earn the apprenticeship. No, you don't apply to degree apprenticeships through UCAS. You apply directly to the company - it's the same process as applying to a job.
