Midwifery to Dentistry
Hello, I’m studying midwifery and qualify next year (2025) but I wanted to go into dentistry after. Do you think I would have a chance in being accepted into dentistry? If so, I would appreciate some guidance on my next steps please. thanks in advance

What made you wanna leave midwifery? Funny as I'm a dental nurse but looking to be a hygienist/therapist but midwifery was my back up

graduate entry dentistry is 10x more competitive than normal undergraduate dentistry. Itll probs be like 30:1 applicant to place ratio. Make sure u smash ur ucat !

I have enjoyed my midwifery journey but I feel like it isn’t my passion anymore as a career. I’m finishing my third year this year but now I’m looking to go into dental hygiene and therapy as well so I’m still researching my options xx

I’m about to start the DHT course let’s hope I enjoy it or I’ll be going into midwifery! Good luck on your decision
