Oh is it? I sent them my portfolio at literally 11:59, like the last minute, haven’t heard back yet. When I sent them a mail on March 13th they said they’re still reviewing my application and cannot guarantee when they will get back. But now idk I’m scared to hope.

They just informed me that I was rejected :frown:

Yep me too. I was very disheartened obviously. But I got an offer from RCA and I have an interview invite for the Swedish School of Textiles so that has definitely softened the blow. Have you applied elsewhere?

RCA is a grest school, well done! I didn't apply anywhere else, I want to reapply next year but I need to know what to work on. I asked them for feedback and they wrote: Becasue other applications were better. Wow, so helpful...

They wrote the same for me, lol. I was like uh okay that’s quite helpful. At least they should’ve provided a slightly more helpful feedback to improve on. But I think I do have an idea where I was lacking in my portfolio. In my opinion it was my research part, I’ve always been very result oriented and focused on the fit and drape of the final garment, even though I have a thought process behind each design I don’t like speaking much about it and I think they really need to see each and every thing laid out in terms of process and development. So ig that’s what was lacking in my portfolio this time

Omg congratulations! Can I ask which course you’ve been accepted into ? I was also thinking about applying to RCA since their 3rd round deadline is till August. But now I’m really torn. I have applied to LCF waiting for their response. But lowkey I feel like I’m gonna wait prepare more work (tailored to csm) and apply to CSM again in November. Because I’m not hearing good things about LCF on internet.

Hi! Did any of you have interviews before the final submission? Or only after you submitted your portfolio?

Hi! My application process was as follows:
Initial application > portfolio request and submittal > interview > offer 🙂 there was approx 2-4 weeks inbetween each stage, hope this helps!

Hi, this is the usual application process that one submits their portfolio first and the interview is offered on this basis. During the interview you will be welcomed to elaborate more on what you submitted and answer and ask some questions.
Best,
Weronika
