Assignments

Due to personal issues, I was unable to hand in 2 assignments in year 2 of open university. Can I still pass the module if I hand in the other assignments? So I have two more assignments left.

Yes, you can still post but you can also go to your student union about it and they may help you. If you show how your personal issue prevented you from submitting assignments, they will use your grades to make an overall judgement of what they may have been

It depends on how the module is designed. And the weighting of the assessments. Some or all of the assessments may have to be passed, or the final module mark may be an average grade of all assessment components. You need to refer to the module handbook/assessment briefs to find this out.

Hi there

I would recommend going to your Universities academic support, or the module support team? If you explained the issue with them, they may be able to assist you with your situation.

Whether you pass the module will depend on how it is structured, and whether the essay was a compulsory pass. You may be able to find this information in your module guide, or by asking your seminar leader.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
