heyaaa welcome to grow your grades have seen you around the site a bit glad to see you have made one ❤️

So I've finally decided to make a GYG to motivate myself and also to make sure I stay on pace with my classes. For anyone who doesn't know, I am in California in the United States in 8th grade (the equivalent of year 9 in the UK). Also I am homeschooled and on an advanced program which is why I'm taking advanced classes like geometry and Spanish 2.
Classes I am taking:
Biology
10th grade (year 11) English
Modern World History
Spanish 2
Geometry
Career Explorations (a class to learn about different careers. I'm only taking it because I have to)

*I am able to log onto my computer/TSR at 9:20 - 11:00 a.m. (1:20 - 3:00 p.m. UK time) and 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. (10:15 - 11:15 pm UK time)

i had to move on from utopia (got about halfway thru) to spanish 2, finsished quiz 3.3 and only missed one (yay!) so will have to retake later
but now i gotta move on to tempest act 4 in english, then world history (not quite sure what i'll be studying there yet) then lunch, homework, fossil record in bio, then i should be back online for some geometry!

yh you're 8 hrs ahead, but the study sessions are nice cuz i have study time during my school day

how come you're able to have the study sessions during school? do you guys have like free periods theree

well i'm homeschooled and in an online program so besides actual notes and lectures that i do with my mom (she used to be a high school teacher) i also have specific time to work on geometry and spanish 2 (my 2 online classes) geo and spanish are both self-paced so i can log on whenever i want. i have set times because i like rigidity and schedules hope that makes some sense

It has been too long since i updated this (prolly the reason i have been not so productive lol).
Today's plan:
Take Quiz 3.4 for spanish 2 (the difference between por and para)
English notes: mostly questions to answer since i finished the Tempest
World History test i've gotta take
Biology notes*
Fix geo quiz on tangent lines

*I'm a little confused on the endosymbiont theory, can anyone clear this up for me? thx!

Hopefully I have a productive day and don't just play 2048 all day. I'm signing off now, should be back with an update later!

So i just took a CTE quiz, it was timed but then i ran out of time, missed like 8 of the 9 questions i was able to answer and didn't even get to answer the rest. final grade for that quiz: now my overall grade is 84% which is a B.
What do I do now? I've always been a straight A student, this is so embarrasing. and if my parents find out...
