Anyone heard anything about Lincoln accommodation?

Pretty sure they don’t open applications until June!

Curious though, when did you hear back from Lincoln? Like length between department offer and college offer

I think it was around 2 weeks? Got my offer half way through Feb and got college at start of March. I did an open application though so not sure how the college process works
Was Lincoln your first choice college? And any word on funding from them?

So who else in that place of limbo where it's like, you got your dream offer, you've accepted it, and you got your college offer, and now you're basically about to spend the next 6-10 weeks waiting for a miracle email telling you you've gotten full funding somehow?

Here, here! I got my offer (Feb 22) and was assigned to my first-choice college one week later (I'm not even sure it was the best choice), and now I'm scrambling. Fortunately, if this doesn't work out, I have a solid backup plan.
I was considering writing to the college asking if and how they provide funding for an MSt in Film Aesthetics. The problem with the Film Aesthetics admissions is that the program does not have a department. It is part of the Humanities Division, one of the six interdisciplinary masters degrees, but there is no department to turn to. So, I can't even ask the dept anything specific related to funding. Applied to all possible funding options, from Oxford Trust to Clarendon and Ertegun. No word on anything yet (I know the Ertegun has been allocated and I didn't get it).

Anyone else admitted into one of the interdisciplinary master's programs who cares to comment on how you're doing with funding and with whom communicated at Oxford post-offer? Thanks!

I have no real advice or answer to your question, but I still hope you get the dough for your film course! Pretty much in the same boat with funding right now, lol.

It's really excruciating haha. I should be celebrating that I got an offer, but the prospect of not being able to actually pursue the program because of a lack of funding gives me incredible anxiety...

Yeah, DPhil History here. Got the decision on March 4th, and received my chosen college placement (Exeter) on the 14th. No word on funding yet, but it's clear that Ertegun has already gone out. I'm going a bit stir-crazy waiting...

With regard to Clarendon / scholarships that you are "automatically assessed for", how do you find out if you've been nominated? Is this the result of straight up asking via email or is it in the offer docs?

It seems that most people who know have emailed their department to ask. It doesn't say on my offer docs whether I was nominated or not

Nope. I chose Lincoln and am now regretting that slightly as I think it's very popular this year. What about you?
