As of recent I have not been reaching my goals, which does disappoint me. To find the root cause of the solution I pondered and stumbled on the solution - I have been setting myself unrealistic expectation. The problem with this it dampens my morale. But fear not... I HAVE REACHED A SOLUTION🥳🥳🥳:

Biology: still going through our tests from our mocks. My friend " that test was horrible". My teacher "I know...it was horrible for me to mark😭😭"

Chem: just practice qs in class
•
Econ: going over development economics....but this lesson was so long I had a migraine and the teacher goes round picking on people to read paragraphs of the article. `Because i'm one of 2 girls he always picks one of us and so we place bets, this time he picked me then i told him I had a headache and he was like "looking at ur phone isn't gonna help either" 😔 I was so embarrased because I was just staring at the time to will mother nature to move the clock forward and FAST. All the boys start going OHHHHHHH (in some weirdly synchronised way- so childish its hard to believe I'm one of the youngest in the class). THEN my friend offers to read the paragraph for me and as she begins to read ALL THE BOYS GO BACK TO THEIR NORMAL CONVOS- LIKE WE WE'RENT JUST DOING A GROUP ACTIVITY. They completely ignored her and my teacher had to raise his voice- which he never does. sigh.... there comes an age when I ask oneself will the time come that young boys relinquish the chains of boyhood and become men

I have recently been struggling with the feeling that my revision is not adequate, to combat this despite Saturday's being my day of rest, i've decide to do some intense revision and have planned the following tasks

This is my first time even venturing into the world of GYG'S but your eloquence and style of speaking greatly snagged my eye!
Mayhaps I am a little out of sorts here, seeing as I am a GCSE student but I am one that is STRUGGLING as I embark on the sisyphean task of aiming for top grades whilst not having the skillset to do so (tis the life I guess).
Humanities subjects are, for lack of a better word, my *****, but stem? Not so much!! I am slogging through a ton of maths revision at the moment since I have English and Maths mocks next week, but I am far more worried about maths (I'll just binge-read Macbeth tomorrow).
If there are any students who did well at STEM in GCSE in this thread, what really boosted your grades? I am currently working at solid 5s and 6s on those but I would really like to move up a band into 7 AT LEAST so I improve my chances of getting into a decent university. Also how does one set up a GYG? This website alludes me lol, it's well confusing.
83 days til the dreaded GCSE'S march towards me, much like Birnham Wood. Pray that I do survive this.
